Body Scripture by Ronit Bigal

Using black Indian ink Israeli artist Ronit Bigal skilfully and meticulously wraps parts of her subjects skin in calligraphy that’s made up of Hebrew scriptures taken from Biblical texts. The abstract images are often left looking like landscapes as the tiny lettering follows the contours of the body.

Extraordinary photos of young hitchhikers and freight train hoppers by Mike Brodie

Mike Brodie (tumblr | facebook) first began photographing in 2004 when he was given a Polaroid camera. Working under the moniker, The Polaroid Kidd, Brodie spent the next four years circumambulating the U.S. amassing an archive of photographs that would go on to make up one of the few, true collections of American travel photography. Having never undergone any formal training, he chose to remained untethered to the pressures and expectations of the art market.

“Judgments”I took this last year, but in retrospect, I think it’s my strongest piece from high school.
Working on this project really made me examine my own opinions, preconceptions and prejudices about “slutty” women and women who choose to cover all of their skin alike. I used to assume that all women who wore Hijabs were being oppressed, slut-shame, and look down on and judge any woman who didn’t express her sexuality in a way that I found appropriate.
I’d like to think I’m more open now.

Significant: that there is no place you can put a mark for “totally approved, cannot possibly be used against you.”
The only way to win is not to play.

GUYS. GUYS.
GUYS.
HOLY FUCK.
GOOD GUY ADOBE releases the ENTIRE CS2 SUITE. FOR FREE.
That means free access to Photoshop CS2 - and that already has most of what you could ask for, really.
All you have to do is create a FREE ADOBE ID.
I am not sure about commercial use, but MAN. FUCKIN’ SWEET DUDE

reblogging for my friends that are still learning the ropes, and need a bit of a cash break. I used cs2 up until about a month ago, so it might be old, but it still does the job :)

Dude, CS2 was a REALLY good program— go for it if you don’t have it! It might not have all the bells and whistles but it’s SUPER useful and I was using it until I got my new computer and upgraded all my stuff.

GOOD STUFF
For everyone who really wants/needs but can’t afford Adobe stuff
Creative Suite basically has the most frequently used programs; it’s the package I have. I use CS4 but HONESTLY CS2 is still really good and there’s not a huge difference. Many of my professors in the professional fields are still using CS2. Plus it’s FREE so you really can’t beat that.

HOLY SHIT!!!!

oh hey there free stuff offers
